Flashy 6yo Appaloosa Gelding with Unlimited Potential - $12500 |
Congratulations Kendra!
Meet KKA Nakoda Thunder, 6yo Registered Appaloosa gelding standing 15.2hh. A barn favorite, this sweet, handsome gentleman is looking for his special person, someone he can bond with and love forever, someone he can make laugh with his silly antics, and someone who wants to learn and grow with him. Nakoda is as solid as they come in the arena with a trot you can sit for days and a rocking horse canter that will make you smile. He goes well in just a snaffle, working primarily off your seat and leg but also neck reins, making him a fit for most any English or Western discipline his new person desires. Nakoda has some cool moves in saddle, knows his leads, side passes, stops, backs up, and all that fun stuff, but also ground ties, comes when called, and even picks his rider up at the rail or mounting block! He is also learning to give kisses, bow, and lay down on command. This trustworthy guy is the same great horse no matter if you ride him daily or pull him out once a month, but he does love to get regular attention and truly appreciates some variety in his life. Nakoda is ready to take an intermediate rider to the next level, but enjoys taking things slow and easy and likes to take care of his rider, making him safe enough to pack the occasional newbie around the ring. Nakoda is best suited for an appy-savvy handler capable of helping him gain confidence in new situations; after all, there is a whole world outside the arena that this young man has yet to explore! Nakoda was tuned up in Summer to prepare him for a new home but Pigeon Fever put those plans on hold. Now that he is all healed up we are offering Nakoda on special as he is donning his winter woolies and is slightly out of tune. I don’t have the availability to take him back into full time training until next Spring but am riding him once or twice a week. The first time I hopped on Nakoda after his four month break he was PERFECT, just a little out of shape. Nakoda will remain in part-time training until sold. Needless to say, the right home is a must for this amazing guy. We love Nakoda so much that we would prefer to see him stay in the area. Sound as they come and up to date with vaccinations and deworming. Currently barefoot but has worn front shoes in the past. Pre-purchase exams are welcomed at buyers expense. 6yo Spotted Draft, Possible 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 package - $3500 |
Congratulation Shelby!
Sassy is a gorgeous chestnut flaxen Spotted Draft and a proven producer who was bred back to the same Belgian that sired her 2021 foal. Sassy is not confirmed in foal, but was exposed from April 15 - June 1, 2021 and has not shown any signs of returning into heat since. She stands roughly 16hh with good confirmation and nice straight legs. A few months after foaling out this spring, Sassy adopted another foal and she arrived at the end of August looking like you would expect a first time mom with two nursing babies to look: underweight and overworked! As soon as she was up to a healthy weight the work began to gentle her without undue stress that might affect her pregnancy. A willing and quick learner, Sassy now meets you at the gate with a nicker, halters, leads, and enjoys being groomed. She is cautious, but gains confidence with new challenges quickly. She needs work on picking up her feet and she needs to be trimmed but she is completely sound and has excellent movement. Sassy would make a great addition to a breeding program and could be trained to the cart or started under saddle after weaning her 2022 foal. Make this possible 2-in-1 package a 3-in-1 package by taking Sassy's 2021 filly home too! Pictures of Sassy and her 2021 filly |
